PHOEBE HAS A DIFFICULT BIRTH - 18th Aug 08 |
|
|
Phoebe needed to have a C section birth. She came into labor late Saturday night and by 3am she was not making any progress the vet advised to wait a couple more hours and by 5am it was apparent that the kittens were not coming naturally. By 6.30am Phoebe under went a C section and had 6 kittens. Unfortunately 2 were too weak to survive. Phoebe and the remaining 4 are begining to thrive and fingers crossed that they will all pull through this ordeal.
There is more information on the litters page. I will also post regular updates so please keep viewing. |

Snowshoes - 27th July 2008 |
|
|
This is my snowshoe girl that is currently only 6 weeks old and still with her breeder, Kelly Grimmett (see links for website). She will be my first snowshoe so I hope to start breeding sometime next year. If you interested in the Snowshoe have a read of the breed information sheet to find out what their personalities are like. I have to say I fell in love with them the first time I saw them in the fur. If you want more information and more pictures to look at, go to my links page and look at the snowshoe website. |

The Sad Loss of Lapis Lazuli |
|
|
OUR LITTLE BRIGHT LIGHT
Lapis Lazuli like your name sake a gem.
We remember you now as we remembered you then.
A spirit so strong and a soul so bright.
Your body so small, petite and slight.
And being with you was a pure delight.
Go forth my darling my little gem.
To a land beyond, a place thats free like a magical glen.
Take care of your babies.
Let your future be bright in the land of the Goddess.
Where no one has to fight.
Remember us Lazuli as you take flight.
Remember us, our little bright light. |
